Why Barnet roofers are switching to TaapCraft
Lead-based platforms charge Barnet roofers every time a customer enquires - whether or not the job ever happens. TaapCraft flips the model: you only pay when a real job completes and you've been paid by the customer.
Combine that with verified profiles, escrow-style payment protection, AI-powered job matching and direct messaging, and you have the most cost-effective way to grow a roofer business across London.

Roofers in Barnet - what the local work looks like
Barnet, London
Barnet is mostly large 1930s semis, mansion blocks and suburban detached homes, which means roofers here see extensions, loft conversions and full refurbishments. Typical enquiries cover tile repairs, flat roofs, chimney work and gutter replacements.
Traders working Barnet and neighbouring boroughs tend to keep travel short and jobs clustered, so a tight postcode radius usually earns more per day than chasing work across the city. TaapCraft matches enquiries by postcode, so the jobs you see are the ones you can realistically reach.
Most Barnet roofers also pick up work in Finchley, Golders Green, Hendon and Edgware, so one postcode radius can cover several rounds of jobs a week.

What Barnet customers ask before booking
- "Can you come out today to stop the leak?"
- "Do you need scaffolding, and is it in the price?"
- "Is the work guaranteed, and for how long?"
- "Can you send photos of what you find up there?"
How the work is priced and run
Repairs are usually priced per visit or per job, while replacements and flat roofs are quoted after a survey, often with scaffolding shown separately. You set your own quotes.
Storm weeks create more urgent work than any one roofer can handle, and planned summer jobs keep the diary steady the rest of the year.
