Why Soho dog walkers are switching to TaapCraft
Lead-based platforms charge Soho dog walkers every time a customer enquires - whether or not the job ever happens. TaapCraft flips the model: you only pay when a real job completes and you've been paid by the customer.
Combine that with verified profiles, escrow-style payment protection, AI-powered job matching and direct messaging, and you have the most cost-effective way to grow a dog walker business across Westminster, London.

Dog Walkers in Soho - what the local work looks like
Soho, Westminster, London
Soho is mostly mansion blocks, period townhouses and commercial units, which means dog walkers here see high-spec, access-restricted and commercial work. Typical enquiries cover solo and group walks, drop-ins and doggy daycare.
Traders working Soho and the rest of Westminster tend to keep travel short and jobs clustered, so a tight postcode radius usually earns more per day than chasing work across the city. TaapCraft matches enquiries by postcode, so the jobs you see are the ones you can realistically reach.
Most Soho dog walkers also pick up work in Mayfair, Marylebone, Pimlico and Paddington, so one postcode radius can cover several rounds of jobs a week.
Dog Walker Work In Soho - The Jobs, Week By Week
Here is what dog walker work in Soho in London actually looks like week to week, so you can judge whether the enquiries coming through TaapCraft suit the way you already work.
Jobs that come through most
- Regular weekday solo or group walks while owners are at work
- Midday drop-ins, feeding and letting out for puppies and older dogs
- Ad-hoc cover for late shifts, holidays and hospital appointments
- Doggy daycare and home boarding where licensed
- Puppy visits and settling-in walks for new owners
How the year runs in Soho
Return-to-office and new-puppy owners drive the biggest wave of regular bookings.
Shorter days push demand into midday slots; wet-weather cover is a selling point.
Holiday cover, boarding and early-morning walks before the heat.
What Soho customers ask before booking
- "Are you verified, and do you hold a licence for boarding or daycare?"
- "Solo walks or group walks, and how many dogs at once?"
- "Do you send photos or a walk update each time?"
- "Can you do the same slot every week, and what happens if I cancel?"
How the work is priced and run
Usually priced per walk or per visit, with weekly blocks and multi-dog rates. Recurring clients are the value here, so a single sign-up can become a standing weekly booking.
Walking is a round, not a callout - the tighter your postcode cluster, the more dogs fit in a day. Enquiries are matched by postcode so your round stays walkable.
